How to Apply Mascara Like a Pro

1. 1. Start with clean lashes
      Make sure your lashes are free of any old makeup or oils. If you’re using an eyelash curler, do it before applying mascara to avoid breakage.

   2. Wiggle at the roots
      Starting at the base of your upper lashes, wiggle the mascara wand side to side while pulling it upward through your lashes. This adds volume at the roots and helps separate lashes.

   3. Sweep through the tips
      After the base is coated, comb through to the tips for length and definition. Apply one to two coats, depending on your desired look.
